Incoming Chair: Eduardo M. Suarez

Welcome to all our members to the July summer edition of The Variant. The next newsletter release will be the September edition. Our fiscal year starts on July 1st and ends on June 30th of the following year. I am honored to serve as Chairperson of Section 1510 for 2010-2011. Although I am new in this position, I have been a member of the ASQ since 1995, have previously held positions of Arrangements Chair and Treasurer of Section 1510, and have attended ASQ Section Leadership Training. An excel-lent Board has been assembled to provide the membership with many activities as in the previous year and will be listening to your suggestions for areas of improvements and new ideas to be explored.
